Gypsy Snake Salon, a traveling tolerance experiential, is my personal abstract folk art extension of 2012 "Roma: Crossing the Borders" exhibit perhaps.
Due to the rigors of teaching I could not define and do my art, so by year 2000,
I committed to managing heart art curriculum, pacing, sequencing by art-ing one notecard per day.
One of those notecards said "I am artist"
even tho eye could barely pick a paint color for my wall, had that dream in my school years,
almost forgot, wrongly thought u had to be dead to have ur art receive recognition, hang in museum.
2012, artist dream was validated by Roma: Crossing the Borders exhibit, thank heavens, the cards, and Voice of Roma!

while teaching at Harris Newmark Continuation School in down town L.A. early 2000s.
when I stepped out of the classroom in 2009, i turned 16 habits wall classroom cards I made for adolescents into modge podge canvas, a take on old joke (what's black and white and red all over?)
adopted to live free my dreams maybe
grown almost 20 years collaborating in classrooms and treatment centers,
I love the kids and the work, yet my heart had little art, so I seemed like he without a heart....
i wondered where was the easy guide book to help life liberty and pursuit of happiness
for regular joes and mary's for our heart dreams to blossom
(over big businesses that drive the heartbroken business & school standards all superior like)
such a complex topic, decided to card and cartoon it out in chunks, i don't mean to intimidate,
just play for life, scientifically divine, of course ...
